BDMW Foundation Scholarship

**Scholarship Eligibility Criteria**

To be eligible for the BDMW Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Be a graduating senior at Beaumont United High School.

- Plan to pursue higher education at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

**Application Requirements**

Interested students must submit the following to establish eligibility:

1. **Completed Application**  

2. **Essay:** A written essay answering the question: *"Why are you the best candidate for this scholarship?"*  

   In your essay, feel free to highlight:

   - Your post-graduation plans.

   - Academic achievements.

   - Involvement in extracurricular activities.

   - Community service and leadership experiences.

   - Any unique or interesting personal facts that distinguish you from other applicants.

3. **Letter of Recommendation:** One letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or community leader who can speak to your character, achievements, and potential.

**Essay Guidelines:**

- Length: 1.5 - 2 pages, typed, double-spaced, in Times New Roman font.

**Important Dates:**

- **Application Deadline:** April 18, 2025.

- **Notification of Recipients:** By May 15, 2025.

**Note:** Incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship. Be sure to submit all requested information to be eligible for consideration.
