How to Apply

**MUST BE A 2024 GRADUATING SENIOR FROM BEAUMONT UNITED HIGH SCHOOL, TO APPLY**

Criteria: The students eligible for assistance must be graduating high school seniors who attend Beaumont United High School and intend to continue their education at an accredited college, university, or trade school. 

In order to establish eligibility, all candidates must submit an application along with a written essay or video explaining why they should receive the scholarship. Students may mention their plans upon graduation, extracurricular activities, academic accolades, community involvement, and/or any fun or interesting facts about themselves that would set them apart from other candidates. Creativity is strongly encouraged! Students may use graphics, animation, appropriate music, filters, props, costumes, music abilities, etc. While many of the students will be noteworthy candidates, we cannot select them all, so WOW US WITH YOUR CREATIVITY!

ESSAY GUIDELINES:

1. Essays should be 1.5 - 2 pages typed, double spaced, Times New Roman font.  

VIDEO GUIDELINES:

1. All submitted videos must be between 1 and 3 minutes. Videos are not to exceed three minutes. Any video over three minutes will not be considered. No Exceptions.  
2. All submitted videos must ONLY include the scholarship applicant and NO OTHER PERSON. The applicant should be dressed appropriately and use appropriate language at all times throughout the video.
3. All videos  must be submitted to the provided email address as a YouTube link, along with the applicant's application and video/photo release form.

The application deadline is Apr 15th, 2024, and the selected candidates will be notified no later than May 15th, 2024. NOTE: IF ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION IS NOT SUBMITTED, THE CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP.
